Studies have confirmed that behavior modification methods have a greater success rate for helping people to stop smoking than any substance substitution approach. Statistics show that nicotine patches, gum, inhalers, shots and other substances that are supposed to reduce the "craving" for nicotine most often achieve only temporary success. Of the behavior modification approaches that have been systematically studied, hypnotherapy proved to be not only the most effective, but also the simplest. My approach to smoking cessation has been developed and refined over 38 years of practicing hypnotherapy and conducting thousands of one-on-one sessions. My method is simple and effective. Results are immediate and most often only one session is required. This DVD recording is a re-creation of a stop smoking session exactly as you would experience it if you were to come to my office for a person-to-person session. I guide you through my pre-hypnotic talk and describe how my approach to hypnotherapy differs from traditional methods. I be leading you through three demonstrations that reveal your mental powers and how to use them to be a permanent, peaceful, healthy and independent non-smoker; and to feel, behave and to act as though you never did smoke. When I say permanent I mean from this point in your life until you depart this life's experience. Peaceful refers to not only experiencing a relief from the anxieties and irritability many people experience when they try to stop smoking on their own, but also experience a sense of peacefulness about life in general. When I say healthy, I not only mean the obvious health benefits of being a non-smoker but also not putting on weight. And independent means it doesn't matter if people around you smoke or if they don't smoke. You are independent and in control of your own actions and thoughts.
